- Bookings with partners are between you and the partner.
- You can cancel a paid plan anytime. It stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
01Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using TravelBuddy, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use TravelBuddy.
02Your account
Give accurate information, keep your login safe, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You need to be 18 or older to have an account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
03What TravelBuddy is
TravelBuddy is an AI travel companion. It suggests plans, places and budgets based on what you tell it and on information from other services. Its answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, especially prices, weather, opening hours, schedules, permits and availability. Check anything important, and anything about safety, with the provider or local authorities before you rely on it. The TravelBuddy app is not a travel agency. Trips with TravelBuddyPH Tours have their own Tour Terms and Conditions.
04Partners and bookings
Partners are businesses and drivers listed on TravelBuddy. Among the options that fit your request, partners are shown first and tagged as partners. When you contact or book a partner, the arrangement is between you and that partner, and the partner is responsible for its service. We don't guarantee a partner's service, but we take reports seriously and can remove partners who don't meet our standards. Partners agree to their own separate Partner Terms.
05Plans and payments
Some features are free and some need a paid plan. Prices and what each plan includes are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refunded. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us and we'll look into it.
06Fair use
- Plans may include limits, such as voice minutes or full trip plans per month. These are shown with each plan.
- Don't misuse TravelBuddy: no illegal activity, harassment of partners or other users, attempts to break or overload the service, scraping, or reselling access.
- We may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules.
07Your content
You own the messages, photos and other content you send. You give us permission to store and process it to run TravelBuddy for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
08Our content
The TravelBuddy name, logo, design and software belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
09Changes to the service
We're improving TravelBuddy all the time, so features may change, be added or be removed. If a change significantly affects a paid plan you're on, we'll tell you in advance.
10Liability
To the extent allowed by Philippine law, TravelBuddy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of partners and other third parties. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law.
11Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile or by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes go to the proper courts of the Philippines.
