Last updated October 18, 2026· English lang ang version na ito
For businesses and drivers partnering with TravelBuddy.
Other documents:
the short version
  • Joining is free. Your first ₱20,000 in bookings or first 90 days are commission-free, whichever comes first.
  • After that, we only earn a commission on bookings that come through TravelBuddy. No bookings, no fee.
  • You control your listing and can update or pause it anytime.

01Who these terms are for

These Partner Terms apply to businesses (such as stays, restaurants, karinderyas, bars, tour and boat operators, and rentals) and to tuk-tuk and tricycle drivers who apply to be, or are, listed as TravelBuddy partners. They are separate from the Terms of Service that travelers agree to.

02Applying and approval

Apply through the partner form with accurate details. We review every application and may ask for more information, verify your details, or decline an application. We need your business documents, or for drivers your license, franchise and clearance, before your listing goes live. Being approved doesn't guarantee a listing in every category or area.

03Your listing

  • You're responsible for keeping your listing accurate: prices, photos, opening hours, what's included, and availability.
  • We may edit your listing for clarity. We show you our wording, including the honest "good to know" notes travelers see, before it goes live.
  • You can update or pause your listing anytime from your partner dashboard.

04How partners are shown

Among the options that fit what a traveler asks for, partners are shown first and tagged as TravelBuddy Partners. We don't show a partner when it isn't a fit for the request. We don't guarantee a number of recommendations, views, inquiries or bookings.

05Booking requests

  • Mark your open dates in your dashboard so travelers only ask about days you're available.
  • Booking requests reach you by email and text message. Confirm or decline in your dashboard within 24 hours.
  • Honor confirmed bookings at the price shown. If you must cancel, tell the traveler and us right away.

06Fees and commission

  • Joining TravelBuddy is free, with no upfront cost.
  • Your first ₱20,000 in bookings through TravelBuddy, or your first 90 days as a partner, are commission-free, whichever comes first.
  • After that, you pay a commission only on bookings made through TravelBuddy. The rate is shown in your partner dashboard and agreed with you before it applies. No bookings, no fee.
  • Listing-only partners that don't take bookings through TravelBuddy, and tuk-tuk and tricycle drivers, pay no fees.
  • We send a monthly statement of bookings and any commission due.
  • Don't ask travelers who found you through TravelBuddy to cancel and rebook directly to avoid commission.

07Drivers

  • Keep a valid driver's license, a franchise or permit from your LGU, and a police or NBI clearance, and update them before they expire.
  • Charge fair fares, agreed with the rider before the trip. No overcharging.
  • Treat riders with respect and keep them safe, especially at night.
  • We may verify your papers at any time, and suspend or remove drivers after serious or repeated complaints.

08Quality and conduct

Treat travelers fairly and as described in your listing. Don't post fake reviews or ask for reviews in exchange for discounts. We act on traveler reports, and we may suspend or remove partners who don't meet these standards.

09Your content

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the logo, photos and text you send us. You give TravelBuddy permission to use them to show your listing in the app and on our website, and to promote TravelBuddy, while you're a partner.

10Ending the partnership

Either side can end the partnership at any time. Your listing is removed within 30 days. Commission for bookings completed before the end is still due.

11Responsibility

You're responsible for your services, your permits and licenses, and your taxes. TravelBuddy isn't a party to your agreements with travelers. To the extent allowed by Philippine law, our total liability to you is limited to the commission you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

12Changes to these terms

We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any change to fees or commission takes effect.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes go to the proper courts of the Philippines.
